We are so fortunate to have friends that work at Disneyland; which means that we can get in for free basically any time. So we take advantage of that when we can… and I think we will be doing it more often as our son gets older and appreciates it more. Sure, this time he was petrified of thinking about going on the slow-ass train that goes around the park, and cried in the line for It’s a Small World, but once he finished the rides he was obsessed. He is too in his head. Oh well.
I got new shoes and a new shirt for this visit. I didn’t want to wear my boots that I typically wear because for all that walking they aren’t great. Especially when carrying a 40lb kid. So I went with these 70s reissue Chuck Taylors. I had to do research to figure out what the difference was between the $85 and $50 versions. Sneaker Freaker had a good breakdown. Basically they are better made and have more padding. They worked out well. I also grabbed them in a cream color too. And I also found this perfect 90s Mickey & Friends shirt on Amazon. Which was great because I bought it with 1 day shipping since I waited until the last minute to look for one haha.
