Book of Mormon in Hollywood

June 15, 2017

We recently went up to LA to hang out with our friends, go to the Rosebowl Flea Market, and most importantly… to see Book of Mormon for the 5th time. It’s our favorite show.

We saw the matinee show, which we hadn’t really done before, and it made it a bit confusing on what we should wear. I have been wanting to wear a double breasted blazer for a long time and I got this one from Topman (over a year ago) for $9. Ya, $9. I am pretty sure it was mismarked but I’m not gonna say anything. I was definitely channeling Amalfi Coast / Pitti Uomo vibes with this outfit.

After the show we headed to Cocobella Creamery for some vegan ice cream then over to Musso and Frank Grill for drinks. Musso and Frank is a Hollywood staple and has been there since 1919. When you get a martini (or variation of a martini) they give you the martini in the glass as well as a sidecar to pour another. And it’s only $10 for well and under $15 for higher quality stuff. Pretty damn cheap, especially compared to other places in LA.
